Bio
Such Jam Much Chill is a Chicago-based lofi jam band that will get your feet off the floor at the drop of a hat. The group was born in November 2018 when saxophonist Isaiah Sanderman asked a few friends to play a totally unprepared set at an open mic, and found themselves feeling a new kind of freedom with each other and the audience. The versatile group met each other at various points from years of working in the underground music scene, and they share a desire to bring the best of those experiences to more people.
Equally at home at a DIY house party or a summer festival stage, the quintet+ plays a spectrum from sax driven jazzy hip hop instrumentals to mellow pop tunes with vocals. Drawing influence from The Grateful Dead, Vulfpeck, Lettuce, Fat Night, Snarky Puppy, Noname, and tons of great local music, the band instantly turns any room into the kind of party you want to be at.
